Welcome to Tokyo Waterfront City!

Ready to see Pokémon GO Fest come to life? Tokyo Waterfront City will be your stage as you embark on a legendary adventure inspired by the Pokémon Trainers before you. As you explore this iconic location, keep an eye out for real-world decorations, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, and more!

Park
Trainers can look forward to an experience that unfolds throughout Tokyo Waterfront City during their park session. 
Here’s what to expect:
  • Special Research to investigate the recent discovery of a new Pokémon species, Zeraora.

  • Four skill-based Zones throughout the host Park for Trainers to explore, complete Research, and become the very best!

Team Leaders will show off the best parts of their teams in the Recruitment Zone. Trainers can complete Raids to earn additional rewards and learn more about each Team.
Wander through the Conservatory Zone to encounter an incredible variety of Pokémon species up close of all shapes and sizes. Pokémon from your Pokémon GO Pokédex might appear!
In the Cultivation Zone, learn about Pokémon through special event-themed field research, special event-themed Eggs and increased incubator effectiveness. Follow in the steps of those who studied Pokémon and shared their learnings to work together with Pokémon.
Team GO Rocket’s Hideout have appeared. Complete Rocket Battles and join Shadow Raids to reclaim Pokémon GO Fest for Blanche and Team Mystic!
  • Trainers will receive a new Timed Research each hour based on which Zone they are in!

Conclude your park session with a massive multi-thousand Trainer raid to battle a Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y!
Ticketed Pokémon GO Fest attendees are invited to join a Super Mega Raid at the end of their ticketed Park session. For the last thirty minutes of the Park Experience, new Gyms will appear allowing for over one thousand Trainers to join a lobby together to take on Mega Mewtwo!
Both Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will be available during this part of the program. Stay alert Trainers, you are essential to the event and keeping Team GO Rocket away from Mewtwo.
Mewtwo caught from the Super Mega Raids will have a Pokémon GO Fest 2026 Location Background and Mega Level 1 unlocked*!

Step into an Immersive Pokémon GO Trainer Journey
Build your Trainer abilities by completing special tasks, catching Pokémon, and joining Raid Battles across the park. Unite with other Trainers for a special enormous Raid Battle at the end of your park session for a truly mesmerizing surprise!

Tokyo Waterfront City will be our park venue for Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Tokyo, featuring exclusive event booths and special decorations. In addition, there are plenty of experiences to enjoy alongside gameplay, such as a Pikachu Stage Show and interactive Bon Odori dancing!
Pikachu Dance Stage

Pikachu Ondo in GO Fest
At the Team GO Rocket Hideout (Aomi NOP District) in the park, you can enjoy Bon Odori dancing together with Pikachu around a large yagura tower. Let’s all join in and have fun!

Pokémon Local Acts
Product Fair
Pokémon Local Acts is a special project based around the concept of “Local is amazing!” Pokémon selected to represent different regions or prefectures will help share the appeal of each area with Japan and the world. The “Pokémon Local Acts” Products Fair will feature a variety of collab products as well as local specialties.

The Product Fair will be held from 11:00 to 18:00 on all days. Please note that, in order to alleviate congestion, admission will only be possible via a pre-registered lottery system.

Please note that the Islands will not be included in the citywide gameplay for Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Tokyo
Explore Tokyo Through Pokémon GO!
Ticketed Trainers (whether it’s a GO Fest ticket or City Explorer ticket) will receive four Timed Research on their first day of Citywide Gameplay. Each Timed Research is based on one of four City Districts. Trainers will need to explore at least two City Districts and complete the Timed Research to achieve the in-game Pokémon GO Expert Badge. Only Trainers attending the in-person Pokémon GO Fest events will be able to complete the Timed Research and earn this special commemorative in-game badge.
Pokémon GO Expert Badge requires Trainers to physically explore the unique traits of each host city through Pokémon GO and complete Research Tasks associated with each City District.
