Pokémon GO is coming to IIT-Bombay for Techfest 2025!
Trainers,
Pokémon GO will be coming to the IIT-Bombay for Techfest 2025 from December 22–24, 2025. Trainers can look forward to exciting in-game bonuses and an official Pokémon GO booth on the campus of IIT-Bombay in Mumbai. Nearby Trainers are also invited to come and take part in the Catch Cup tournament!

Trainers may encounter Bulbasaur*, Charmander*, Squirtle*, Pikachu* and Eevee*. You might even encounter Lapras* and Snorlax*!
*If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!
Event Bonuses
• Lure Modules will last for three hours.
• Earn an additional Candy from trades.
• Evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur’s Evolution) to get a Venusaur that knows Frenzy Plant.
• Evolve Charmeleon (Charmander’s Evolution) to get a Charizard that knows Blast Burn.
• Evolve Wartortle (Squirtle’s Evolution) to get a Blastoise that knows Hydro Cannon.
Timed Research
There will be a free Timed Research opportunity available.
Timed Research rewards include the following.
