Pokémon GO City Safari turns the city into a living playground where Trainers can explore landmarks, meet and create lasting memories with their community, participate in giveaways, and collect Pokémon!

Trainers can begin their adventure anywhere in Brisbane. There are seven zones throughout the city with City Safari–themed PokéStops and Gyms. Check out these spots to collect stamps for the in-game stamp rally!

On both event days, a limited-time City Safari hub will be available at:

Queen Street Mall is the perfect place for Trainers to begin their City Safari adventure. Collect your Pikachu sun visor, claim your free City Safari: Brisbane sticker pack,* take some photos at the Photo Wall with friends, and start collecting stamps at the Brisbane City Centre zone.

A GO Stamp Rally is coming to City Safari! Collect up to eight stamps as part of this stamp rally and earn an encounter with Eevee wearing an explorer hat for each stamp!*

Trade Hour:
Are you looking to trade your Pokémon with fellow Trainers? You can participate in a trade hour during Pokémon GO City Safari: Brisbane. The trade hour will be held at:

Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. local time

Ticket-holding Trainers will receive the following bonuses and rewards between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on their ticketed day, anywhere in the host city!

• Up to five Special Trades can be made during the day on your ticket while in the host city.
• Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

The Pokémon Regional Championships return to Oceania on September 25, 26, and 27, 2026, in Brisbane, Australia. The Regional Championships feature tournaments for Pokémon TCG, the Pokémon video games, and Pokémon GO.

Where can I buy tickets for Pokémon GO City Safari: Brisbane?

Trainers must physically be present in Brisbane to enjoy all the exclusive gameplay that this event has to offer. For purchasing information, visit the Registering for Live Events page.

How do I start playing after arriving in Brisbane?

Open Pokémon GO in Brisbane on the date and time stated on your event ticket. Trainers who do not have a ticket will not have access to the event-exclusive content even if they are physically present in Brisbane. The in-person live activities are available for everyone, even those without tickets.

Refunds and Account Eligibility

Tickets for this event, including the purchase of any add-ons, are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). There are a limited number of tickets available. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Child Accounts: Trainers with child accounts can attend events when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must purchase a ticket for themselves and for any children who will be attending this event. To register, the email associated with the parent or guardian’s Pokémon GO account must match the parent or guardian’s email address on file with Kids @ Scopely Explore or Pokémon Trainer Central.
