Pokémon GO City Safari: Vancouver – Know Before You GO!

Tips for discovering Vancouver with your new Eevee as a Buddy Pokémon!

Pokémon GO City Safari turns the city into a living playground where Trainers can explore landmarks, create lasting memories with their community, meet fellow Trainers, participate in giveaways, and collect Pokémon!

Trainers can begin their adventure anywhere in Vancouver. There are five zones throughout the city with City Safari–themed PokéStops and Gyms. Check out these spots to collect stamps for the in-game stamp rally!

  • Eevee Explorers: Gastown
  • Eevee Explorers: Downtown Vancouver
  • Eevee Explorers: Granville Island
  • Eevee Explorers: Stanley Park and West End
  • Eevee Explorers: Coal Harbour

On both event days, a limited-time Trainer lounge will be available at the iconic Jack Poole Plaza (1055 Canada Pl, Vancouver, BC V6C 3L5). Trainers can relax, add friends, trade, battle, and more!*

Make the Most of Vancouver with a Stamp Rally

GO Stamp Rally is coming to City Safari! The in-game stamp rally replaces previous City Safaris’ Timed Research, but the rewards are the same.
Collect up to eight stamps as part of this stamp rally and earn an encounter with Eevee wearing an explorer hat for each stamp!*

*If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Where can I join Pokémon GO City Safari: Vancouver?

You can participate from anywhere in Vancouver! Local Community Ambassadors will be hosting meetups that you can join to play with other Trainers. The following communities are running events.

Where can I buy tickets for Pokémon GO City Safari: Vancouver?

Tickets can be purchased from the Pokémon GO Event Ticketing page.

Trainers must physically be present in Vancouver to enjoy all the exclusive gameplay that this event has to offer. For purchasing information, visit the Registering for Live Events page.

How do I start playing after arriving in Vancouver?

Open Pokémon GO in Vancouver on the date and time stated on your event ticket. Trainers who do not have a ticket will not have access to the event-exclusive content even if they are physically present in Vancouver. The in-person live activities are available for everyone, even those without tickets.

Refunds and Account Eligibility

Tickets for this event, including the purchase of any add-ons, are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). There are a limited number of tickets available. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Child Accounts: Trainers with child accounts can attend events when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents or guardians must purchase a ticket for themselves and for any children who will be attending this event. To register, the email associated with the parent or guardian’s Pokémon GO account must match the parent or guardian’s email address on file with Niantic Kids or Pokémon Trainer Club.
