Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time

Solosis, the Cell Pokémon, will be featured during October Community Day!

Featured Pokémon

Solosis will appear more frequently in the wild.*

*If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one or one that has a Special Background!

Evolve Duosion (Solosis’s Evolution) during the event or up to four hours afterwards to get a Reuniclus that knows the Fast Attack Charm.

Charm

  • Trainer Battles: 13 power
  • Gyms and raids: 20 power

Community Day Special Research

For US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Solosis Community Day–exclusive Special Research. Complete this research for even more rewards including:

  • 3 encounters with Solosis that have a Tales of Transformation–themed Special Background
  • Additional encounters with Solosis
  • 1 Premium Battle Pass
  • 1 Rare Candy XL

And even more goodies!

  • Stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research go live.
  • Don’t forget: You’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.
  • To gift a ticket, tap the Special Research ticket in the in-game shop, then tap the Gift button instead of the Buy button.

Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal and will not feature a story.

*Certain restrictions apply. Gifting cannot be completed if the recipient has purchased a Special Research ticket or has been gifted one already.

Event Bonuses

  • 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
  • Lure Modules will last for one hour and may attract the featured Pokémon.*
  • One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of three for the day.*
  • Trades will require 50% less Stardust.*
*While most bonuses are only active during the three-hour event period, these will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.

Lure Module Bonus

From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, Solosis will have a very high chance of appearing at PokéStops with active regular Lure Modules. Solosis attracted to regular Lure Modules will still have an increased chance to be Shiny and may have a Special Background. That’s more chances to encounter the featured Pokémon even after the event hours!

Field Research

October Community Day–themed Field Research will be available! Catch Solosis to earn rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, additional encounters with Solosis, and more! You may even find Field Research that leads to encounters with Solosis that have a Tales of Transformation Special Background—if you’re lucky!

Pokémon GO Web Store – Ultra Community Day Box

An Ultra Community Day Box featuring five Ultra Balls and one Special Research ticket will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store during the event for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). This web store deal will be available starting October 6 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.

Looking for other Trainers to play with?

If you’re looking for Trainers in your area to trade, battle, or join raids with on Community Day, check out our Community Day map! Here you can find Community Ambassador events and local parks.

Community Ambassadors receive support from Niantic to run Pokémon GO events for their communities. If there are no Community Ambassadors near you, you can also search Campfire and find other meetups in your area.

The parks marked on the Community Day map are historically popular places for Trainers to gather during Community Day. These parks could be a fun option to play with your local community while enjoying some fresh air.* We hope this map helps Trainers connect!

*Popular locations are provided for informational purposes only. Niantic is not hosting or operating official or unofficial events at these locations. Please be aware of your surroundings when playing Niantic games.

Check in to a Community Ambassador event to get a Timed Research opportunity that leads to additional encounters with Solosis with a Tales of Transformation–themed Special Background, as well as other premium item rewards!
