Over the years, we’ve seen Trainers meet at raids, reconnect during community meetups, and even turn daily gameplay exploration walks into date nights. Some of those chance encounters have led to proposals, weddings, and families that still play together today. This year, we are thrilled to announce the return of our special proposal experience for love-struck couples at the Pokémon GO Fest 2026 events in Chicago and Copenhagen!
This epic proposal package includes a dedicated photographer to capture the perfect shot, special event access, and a gift to make your heart flutter. We’ll handle the details and the backdrop. All you have to do is bring the ring!

Not near Chicago or Copenhagen? Trainers around the world can still celebrate love, friendship, and a decade of Pokémon GO during Pokémon GO Fest: Global, a two-day in-game event available in all cities around the world on July 11 and 12.

**Pokémon GO proposals is a free add-on experience limited to a small number of Trainers, and it will be offered on a first come, first served basis. It is not a Pokémon GO Fest ticket, and the experience is available only to Trainers who have already purchased tickets for Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Chicago and/or Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Copenhagen. Selection is not guaranteed and is subject to Niantic’s sole discretion. All photography will take place in Grant Park in Chicago and Fælledparken in Copenhagen. Trainers must provide their Trainer name and email associated with their Pokémon GO account in advance for Niantic to verify existing ticket purchases. Participation in the experience is subject to Niantic Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and participants may be required to sign an additional release.
