Trainers,
We’d like to share additional information about the Super Mega Raid happening in the final 30 minutes of each session’s Park Experience at Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Chicago, previously mentioned in the Event Gameplay section of the event website.
In this Super Mega Raid, Trainers will work together to take on the powerful Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y. To help ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for everyone, participation for this raid will differ from standard Raid Battles.
How to Participate
For this Super Mega Raid, Trainers will be assigned to Gyms that will be communicated in advance.
Unlike standard Raid Battles, Trainers will not be able to freely choose any nearby Gym on the day of the event. Please be sure to review the information provided in advance before participating.
At the beginning of your park session, you will see a star-shaped mark on the in-game map that indicates your assigned Super Mega Raid area.
Additional details, including participation instructions and how to confirm your designated area, will be shared with Trainers who hold Park Experience tickets via email at a later date.
