The Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibition is making its North American debut at the Field Museum in Chicago from May 22, 2026, to April 11, 2027. This one-of-a-kind experience brings together the worlds of Pokémon and paleontology, inviting visitors to compare fossil Pokémon like Tyrantrum and Archeops with real-world fossils—including SUE the T. rex.
And Pokémon GO is joining the fun! Trainers who visit the Field Museum in Chicago will have collaboration-themed features to look forward to, including the opportunity to encounter Excavator Pikachu for the first time in Pokémon GO!

From Friday, May 22, 2026, to Sunday, April 11, 2027, the Pokémon Fossil Museum exhibition at the Field Museum in Chicago will offer exciting content for Pokemon GO during museum hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT (with the last entry at 4:00 p.m.)
