We’re excited to share that the Poké Lid Stamp Rally has now arrived in Pokémon GO!
Poké Lid Stamp Rally
Poké Lid Stamp Rally lets you explore Poké Lids — manhole covers featuring Pokémon designs — that are found all across Japan!
Availability
Starting November 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. JST
*This stamp rally has no set end date.
Areas
To celebrate Pokémon GO Wild Area: Nagasaki, the Poké Lid Stamp Rally is coming first to areas across Kyushu and Okinawa.
The stamp rally is coming to the following regions at a later date.:
- Hokkaido and Tohoku
- Kanto
- Chubu
- Kinki
- Chugoku and Shikoku
How to Participate
- When you open the Pokémon GO app in the Kyushu or Okinawa area in Japan, you’ll automatically receive a Poké Lids stamp sheet .
- Visit PokéStops located at Poké Lids in the Kyushu and Okinawa area to collect stamps on your sheet.
- For every two stamps you collect within the same prefecture, you’ll have a chance to encounter Pikachu with a Location Background representing that prefecture!
- You can also send the stamps you’ve collected from Poké Lids to your friends as Gifts.
- Stamps received from friends will have a different border on your own stamp sheet than the ones you collected yourself.
- Stamps received from friends will not count toward the number of stamps needed in the reward track to encounter Pikachu with a Location Background.
- Even if you’ve already received a stamp from friends, visiting the location yourself and collecting the same stamp will count toward the number of stamps required to encounter Pikachu with the Location Background.
*You must be at least level 5 to participate in this GO Stamp Rally.
When new Poké Lids are installed across Japan, their corresponding stamp spaces will automatically be added to your Poké Lid Stamp Rally in Pokémon GO.
Let the fun begin in the Kyushu and Okinawa region! When you visit a prefecture with a Poké Lid, be sure to join in the fun with the Poké Lid Stamp Rally!
