Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event

Pokémon Debut
A new costumed Pokémon will appear during this event! You might find one in the wild, from Field Research, attracted by an active regular Lure Module, or via the GO Pass.
Charmander wearing Friede’s goggles*
You can use 25 Charmander Candy to evolve Charmander wearing Friede’s goggles into Charmeleon wearing Friede’s goggles and 100 Charmander Candy to evolve Charmeleon wearing Friede’s goggles into Charizard wearing Friede’s goggles.
*If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one or one that has a Special Background!
Event Bonuses
- Increased chance to encounter Kecleon at PokéStops.
Reach Major Milestones on your event GO Pass to unlock the following bonuses.

Wild Encounters
During the event, Trainers may encounter Charmander wearing Friede’s goggles*. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat*!
There will also be different Pokémon featured during different times of the event.
From 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., you may encounter Fidough*, Wattrel, and more in the wild! You might even encounter Chansey*!
From 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., you may encounter Eevee*, Hatenna*, and more in the wild! You might even encounter Rockruff*!
*If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

From Wednesday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe for the Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event will be available in Pokémon GO!
GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe
A GO Pass is a free, limited-time progression track available during a specified period. By collecting GO Points, you can increase your rank to earn rewards.
Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: Collaboration Celebration Event on Wednesday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect GO Points and rank up to get additional rewards through Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
For US$4.99*, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe, a paid version of the GO Pass that offers upgraded rewards and faster progression.
For US$6.99*, Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks to also automatically earn enough GO Points to reach Rank 7.
While progressing through the GO Pass Deluxe, you’ll be able to claim all of the rewards from both the free GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe. You can upgrade to a GO Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked ranks.
Rewards unlocked in the GO Pass will expire on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone!
