Live-testing a new Pokémon GO Web Store program

Trainers,

We continually strive to improve the Pokémon GO experience. As such, before we launch significant changes globally, we want to ensure they are beneficial to the Pokémon GO community and make a strong, positive impact on each individual Trainer’s gameplay experience.

Starting December 2024, we’ll be live-testing a new reward program on the Pokémon GO Web Store for Trainers in Australia and New Zealand.

Starting February 2025, we’ll continue live-testing this program on the Pokémon GO Web Store for Trainers in France, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Starting March 2025, we’ll continue live-testing this program for Trainers in Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Poland, Spain, and Sweden.

Trainers in these regions may notice the following.

  • Reward Road, a feature coming to the Pokémon GO Web Store, that offers Reward Points for making eligible purchases in the in-game shop and the Pokémon GO Web Store.* Click here to learn more about Reward Road. Please note: eligible purchases made via the Pokémon GO Web Store will offer double Reward Points.
  • Various new user-interface elements in the in-game store.

We appreciate the support from the communities in these regions as we test this new feature.

*Purchases must be made with real-world currency. Purchases made using PokéCoins or Pokémon GO Gift Cards, and live event ticket purchases, will not earn Reward Points.

Please be aware of your surroundings and follow guidelines from local health authorities when playing Pokémon GO. Upcoming events are subject to change. Be sure to follow us on social media, opt in to receiving push notifications, and subscribe to our emails to stay updated.
