Bundle up for this year’s Winter Wonderland event and Wyrdeer’s Pokémon GO debut during Wyrdeer Raid Day!

This year’s Winter Wonderland event is stuffed with fun! Complete Collection Challenges to receive encounters with event-themed Pokémon, XP, items, and more.

Wyrdeer Raid Day will also be taking place during the event. Wyrdeer, the Big Horn Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut in raids! In addition, you might encounter a Shiny one—if you’re lucky!

Wyrdeer Raid Day

Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

We’re holding a special Raid Day to celebrate Wyrdeer’s Pokémon GO debut! Wyrdeer will appear in three-star raids, and if you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Event bonuses

  • Wyrdeer will appear more frequently in raids.
  • You’ll have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Wyrdeer.
  • Up to five additional daily Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event and up to two hours afterward.
  • The Remote Raid Pass limit will be increased to 10 on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. PST.

Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 24, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Event bonuses

  • Up to five Special Trades can be made a day.
  • Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.
  • 2× XP for winning Raid Battles.

Complete catch- and Evolution-focused Collection Challenges to receive an encounter with Wrydeer and other rewards!

Complete the trade-focused Collection Challenge to receive an encounter with Psyduck wearing holiday attire and other rewards!

PokéStop Showcases

Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops during the event where you can enter event-themed Pokémon.
