Global Challenge

Get ready for the Might and Mastery Finale: Strength in Numbers Global Challenge! Band together with fellow Trainers from around the world to master this challenge by sending Gifts to your friends in Pokémon GO! How many Gifts can you send?

Bonus Active During Challenge

  • Trainers can open up to 50 Gifts per day until the Global Challenge ends on Thursday, May 22, at 12:00 p.m. PDT.

Reward for Global Challenge

After the challenge is completed, all Trainers will unlock the ability to gift free Special Research tickets for May 2025 Community Day Classic: Machop, which takes place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.*

The giftable tickets will be available in the Pokémon GO in-game shop from May 23 at 10:00 a.m. (or earlier!) until May 24 at 5:00 p.m. local time.

Trainers will be able to gift these Special Research tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.**

For additional details on how to gift an event ticket, please visit the Pokémon GO Help Center. Trainers do not need to purchase this ticket in order to gift it.

*Trainers can gift up to 20 tickets per day
**Certain restrictions apply. Gifting cannot be completed if the recipient has purchased the event ticket or has been gifted one already.
