Inspired by a place where dreams and adventures begin, Pokémon GO Tour is bringing the Kalos region to life in Tainan! Embark on a journey of beauty and bonds as you collect Pokémon, discover legendary stories, and experience the community of Pokémon GO in-person.
All event gameplay is exclusive to ticket holders.
Please note: You will only be able to experience the event gameplay within Tainan Metropolitan Park during the date and time noted on your event ticket.
For the first time in Pokémon GO, Trainers will be able to encounter Shiny Diancie! Ticket-holding Trainers attending the in-person event in Tainan can gear up for Masterwork Research that will lead to an encounter with Shiny Diancie—and it’s all included in your event ticket!
This Masterwork Research will also be available as a part of the event ticket for Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global. Trainers who attend the Tainan event and purchase a global event ticket will only be able to complete this Masterwork Research once, and they will receive additional event-themed rewards instead.
*Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace!
Trainers who attend Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Tainan will be able to encounter some stylish Pikachu wearing Calem’s hat or Serena’s hat. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Tainan attendees will be able to encounter Shiny Honedge, Shiny Hawlucha, and Shiny Klefki for the first time in Pokémon GO—if they’re lucky!
Honedge will appear in one-star raids during the event, and Klefki and Hawlucha will hatch from 10 km Eggs during the event. Plus, you’ll have an increased chance of hatching Shiny Klefki and Shiny Hawlucha!

For the first time ever, we’re excited to offer a new nighttime event experience at Pokémon GO Tour, available to purchase as an add-on to your main event ticket. Mega Night is a ticketed evening event, taking place after the main daytime Pokémon GO Tour event.
Look forward to unique gameplay, special entertainment, and more during this “after hours” extravaganza!

Event-themed Pokémon will appear in three unique habitats during the event.
When you purchase your ticket, you’ll select which habitat you’d like to start your day in. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to visit all three habitats during your event day! A map of the venue, including the habitat locations, will be available closer to the event.
Outside of Tainan Metropolitan park, Trainers playing throughout Tainan during their ticketed event hours (including Trainers with a Citywide Gameplay add-on) can encounter wild Pokémon from all habitats, with the exception of White Flower Flabébé, Orange Flower Flabébé, and Natural Form Furfrou.
The following Pokémon will hatch from Eggs during the event!
Tip: Take advantage of Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos’s 1/2 Hatch Distance bonus—or you can upgrade your ticket with the Egg-thusiast add-on to unlock a 1/4 Hatch Distance bonus during the event! Ticket add-ons will be active from Friday, February 20, at 12:00 a.m. local time to Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. local time.
Incense Encounters
The following Pokémon will be attracted to Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) during the event.
Take a snapshot during the event—a costumed Pikachu may surprise you! These stylish Pikachu may be wearing Calem’s hat or Serena’s hat. If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!
Trainers can get up to 12 event-themed GO Snapshot surprise encounters per ticketed event day, including Citywide Gameplay add-on days.
Ticket-holding Trainers in Tainan can take part in an exclusive Special Research story, which they can claim during their ticketed session at Tainan Metrpolitan Park! Stay tuned for more details.
Trainers who attend the Tainan event can also purchase the global event ticket and receive different Special Research to complete during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Global.
A new Timed Research experience will be available to ticket-holding Trainers, awarding encounters with Furfrou, the Poodle Pokémon!
To progress in this research, you’ll need to spin special PokéStops themed after Furfrou’s various trims, scattered throughout Tainan Metropolitan Park. Plus, when you’re near one of these PokéStops, you’ll be able to change Furfrou into the corresponding trim! Normally, Furfrou can only change its trim in certain areas around the world, or during special events, so take this opportunity to try out lots of new looks!

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with these Timed Research opportunities must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before 5:00 p.m. local time on your ticketed event day at the venue. Trainers will only be allowed access to Tainan Metropolitan Park to complete these Timed Research opportunities on their ticketed event day.
Follow these steps to change Furfrou’s trim.

Find Furfrou in your Pokémon storage, tap it to check its summary, and then tap the Change Form button to bring up a menu that lists the available trims.

Select your preferred trim.

Changing your Furfrou from one trim to any other trim will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
Trainers with an event ticket will have a boosted chance of receiving Field Research! Pikachu wearing Calem’s hat*, Pikachu wearing Serena’s hat*, Honedge*, and more event-themed Pokémon will be available to encounter when you complete Field Research tasks!
All attendees will receive the following bonuses and rewards anywhere in Tainan on their ticketed day!

White Flower Flabébé, Orange Flower Flabébé, and Blue Flower Flabébé will appear more frequently on Routes throughout the city during Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Tainan!
Plus, you can collect Zygarde Cells and encounter Mateo at the end of up to 25 Routes per day!
