Health & Safety
If you feel unwell

Please visit the first aid room located at Onoue Hill or Nagasaki Seaside Park or speak to the nearest staff member. Staff members will be circulating throughout the park and may call out to anyone who appears to be unwell.

Heatstroke Prevention Measures

Consider bringing a hat and/or parasol and taking advantage of portable fans and other cooling products.

Wear clothes that are breathable, moisture wicking, and quick drying.

Even if you do not feel thirsty, it’s a good idea to drink plenty of water and keep up your electrolytes with sports drinks, etc. There will be vending machines, water stations, cafes, and kitchen cars within the park. Please also visit our official partner, FamilyMart.

Make good use of shade and take frequent breaks. In addition to team lounges, break tents will also be available on site.

Trainers with Young Children
  • Trainers who have young children with them should pay particularly close attention to their wellbeing.

  • Children’s ability to regulate their body temperature is not fully developed. Due to this, children are more susceptible to heat stroke than adults are. Please take extra care to help keep them cool.

  • Keep an eye out for symptoms and any unusual changes in their behavior. If you notice flushed skin or excessive sweating, please head to a cool area and rest for a while.

  • Beware of reflected heat. If the air temperature is 32℃ (90°F) at head-level for an adult, it will be 35℃ (95°F) for a child. Children in strollers will experience similar effects based on how far off the ground they are.

  • Choose appropriate clothing. Wear cool clothing that can be removed as needed.

  • Make sure they stay hydrated.
