Where to Stay
Not sure which hotel to book? If you’re looking for more affordable options, it’s worth expanding your search beyond Munich’s city center.
Here are a few tips to help you find a convenient place to stay:
- Munich’s S-Bahn network covers a very large area, so hotels farther out can still offer easy access to the city while often being more affordable.
- Check nearby towns and cities. Places such as Augsburg, Freising, Dachau, or Ingolstadt can offer more affordable accommodation while still providing train connections to Munich. Nürnberg can also be an option if you don’t mind a longer journey.
- If you want to stay away from the busy crowds, avoid relying on the U4/U5 westbound from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof).
Don’t miss out—tickets are selling fast! Join us in Lisbon, Marseille, or Munich this September and be part of an unforgettable Pokémon GO experience.
