Additional Charged Attacks

Eligible Mega-Evolved Pokémon will know an additional Charged Attack, regardless of which Mega Level they are.
The power of the attacks will increase as the Pokémon’s Mega Level increases.
In the future, as Pokémon gain access to Super Max Levels, they’ll also get an additional Charged Attack while Mega Evolved.
Pokémon will be able to use the additional Charged Attacks in the GO Battle League.
At this time, Pokémon won’t be able to use the additional Charged Attack in Gym battles against Pokémon defending a Gym.
More Mega-Evolved Mewtwo during GO Fest: Mega Finale
Mewtwo will know the following additional Charged Attacks depending on their Mega Evolution:

Mega Mewtwo Y will know Future Sight+
Adventure Effects for Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y
Mewtwo will also be able to use unique Adventure Effects when it first learns these moves.
Mega Mewtwo X will be able to use Dynamic Punch+ and Mega Mewtwo Y will be able to use Future Sight+. Once unlocked, Mewtwo will also be able to use these Adventure Effects when it isn’t Mega Evolved.
Trainers will need to use Mega Energy and Candy to activate these effects.
Dynamic Punch+ Adventure Effect
Activate Mega Mewtwo X’s Adventure Effect to increase your Pokémon’s damage against Mega-Evolved Pokémon in Mega Raids and Super Mega Raids.
In Super Mega Raids, this Adventure Effect will also allow Trainers to break two shields at once instead of one.
Future Sight+ Adventure Effect
Activate Mega Mewtwo Y’s Adventure Effect to see into the future and reveal Pokémon that will appraise as three-star or higher when entering a Pokémon encounter.
Upon entering an encounter with a Pokémon while the Future Sight+ Adventure Effect is active, the encountered Pokémon will glow if it will appraise with high stats.

Ways to Collect Mega Energy
Trainers can collect the most Mega Energy by defeating a Mega-Evolved Pokémon in a Mega Raid Battle.
You can also occasionally earn Mega Energy by walking with your Buddy Pokémon if you have previously Mega-Evolved a Pokémon in your Buddy Pokémon’s Evolutionary line.
Please note: You will need to collect separate Mega Energy X or Mega Energy Y to Mega Evolve Pokémon that can Mega Evolve into both an X or Y form. For example, to Mega Evolve Charizard into Mega Charizard X, you will need to collect Charizard Mega Energy X.
Once you’ve Mega Evolved a Pokémon for the first time, it’s possible to Mega Evolve them without using Mega Energy.
How to Increase Your Pokémon’s Mega Levels
Right now, there are two ways to increase Mega Levels of a Pokémon.
The first is by Mega Evolving that Pokémon multiple times.
The second is by using significant amounts of Mega Energy to instantly level it up.
