Timed Research will be available to Trainers during the event! Complete the research tasks to earn a Premium Battle Pass and an encounter with Scizor.

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before the Timed Research ends.

• An additional 5,000 XP from all raids.
• Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
• Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20 from Friday, August 21, at 2:00 p.m. to Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
• Receive up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Starmie from Super Mega Raids.
• Starmie caught from Super Mega Raids will have Mega Level 1 unlocked.

For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you can purchase a ticket that grants the following bonuses.*

• An additional 5,000 XP from all raids.
• Receive up to 14 Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• An even greater chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
• Guaranteed Rare Candy XL for successfully catching Starmie from raids.

These bonuses will be effective on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.

Super Mega Raids will take great teamwork and may only appear at certain Gyms, so we’re making it easier to find nearby Gyms, Power Spots, and more using a new web-based map.

You can visit pokemongo.com/map to view both upcoming and ongoing Super Mega Raids. You can also filter the map to only show certain types of events and view events days in advance, allowing you to plan more seamlessly.

Plus, you’ll be able to view nearby community meetups through the map. If you’ve never attended a meetup before, Super Mega Raids are a great reason to go out and meet your local community of Trainers for the first time!
