The following Pokémon will make its Pokémon GO debut in Super Mega Raids!

Mega Chandelure*

Now you’ll be able to increase Mega Chandelure’s Mega Level all the way up to Super Max Level for the first time in Pokémon GO! Learn more here.

As discovered during Mega Finale, Pokémon that are eligible to unlock Super Max level can learn an additional Charged Attack while they’re Mega Evolved! Learn more here

Chandelure will now be able to use an additional Charged Attack, Ominous Wind+, when it’s Mega Evolved.

• Trainer Battles: 50 power, with a chance of increasing the user’s Attack and Defense by one stage.
• Gyms and Raids: 145 power

The power of this attack will increase with the Pokémon’s Mega Level!

Remember: You must increase a Pokémon’s Mega Level to the third level, Max, before you can increase it to Super Max.

Participate in Mega Raids to help your Pokémon reach Super Max Level as Mega Evolving alone won’t be enough—you’ll need to use that Pokémon’s Mega Energy to power it up!

Get ready to take on a Global Challenge in celebration of the Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day event! Work with Trainers around the world to unlock as many tiers of the Global Challenge as possible by completing Raid Battles! The more tiers completed, the greater the bonus reward will be for Mega Chandelure.

The challenge will be active from Friday, October 30, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.

Based on the results of the Global Challenge, Mega Chandelure will receive the following bonuses from Monday, November 2, at 12:00 p.m. PST until Sunday, November 15, at 12:00 p.m. PST.

• For Mega Chandelure at the first Mega Level or higher, Ominous Wind+ will have its base power boosted* **
• Mega Chandelure at Super Max Level will have its CP boosted**

*Bonus does not apply in the GO Battle League.
**The boost is based on the number of Global Challenge tiers that have been completed.

• Remote Raid limit increased to 20 from Friday, October 30, at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
• Receive up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• Chandelure caught from Super Mega Raids will have Mega Level 1 unlocked.
• Increased chance of encountering Shiny Chandelure from Super Mega Raids.

Timed Research will be available to Trainers during the event! Complete the research tasks to earn a Premium Battle Pass and an encounter with Tyranitar.

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before the Timed Research ends.

For US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you can purchase a ticket that grants the following bonuses.*

• Receive up to 14 Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
• Increased chance to get Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
• An additional 5,000 XP from Super Mega Raid Battles.
• An additional 5,000 Stardust from Super Mega Raid Battles.

These bonuses will be effective on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.

Super Mega Raids will take great teamwork and may only appear at certain Gyms, so we’re making it easier to find both these raids and other Trainers to help you take them on!

You can visit the Map to see the locations where Super Mega Raids might appear during an event, in addition to those in progress.

You can also filter the map, or check out nearby Events, to see nearby community meetups days in advance, allowing you to plan more seamlessly. These community meetups are hosted by a Community Ambassador, who receives official support to run Pokémon GO events for their communities. If there are no Community Ambassadors near you, you can also search for and find the meetups closest to you.
